Clive Owen will make his Broadway debut this autumn in a new staging of Harold Pinter's historical times.
The actor could have the superior function in a construction being staged in honour of the Roundabout Theatre enterprise's 50th anniversary.

Owen's outdated stage adventure comprises starring within the West conclusion revival of A Day within the death of Joe Egg in 2001.This version of ancient times could be directed by way of Tony Award winner Douglas Hodge.
Roundabout Theatre inventive director Todd Haimes observed: "In planning our fiftieth anniversary season, it was important to me to encompass a play with the aid of one of the crucial influential contemporary dramatists: Harold Pinter.
"My first season with Roundabout included historic times, our first Broadway season opened with The Homecoming and we opened the primary Laura Pels Theatre with Moonlight.
"it's with first-rate joy that we open our 50th season with Harold Pinter, and welcome Clive for his Broadway debut."
historical times begins previews on September 17, with a full opening deliberate for October 15.
